We’re thrilled to announce Cat Corral as the recipient of the 2026 SDWF Community Inspire Award and invite you to celebrate her at the San Diego Women’s Foundation’s 26th Annual Grants Celebration on Tuesday, June 16 at the Cygnet Theatre.
During this special evening, we’ll celebrate community leaders like Cat Corral and award $300,000 in new grant funding to organizations expanding access to affordable childcare across San Diego County.
Catherine “Cat” Corral, co-founder and Executive/Artistic Director of transcenDANCE, is being recognized for her visionary leadership and commitment to empowering youth through dance, creativity, and community connection. Since founding transcenDANCE in 2005, Cat has helped grow the organization into a nationally recognized program that uplifts young people and inspires social change across San Diego. Through her advocacy, collaboration, and dedication to building more equitable communities, Cat exemplifies the spirit of the SDWF Community Award.
