Finding Our Voices: The Power of Confidence, Collaboration & Philanthropy

This October, Finding Our Voices: The Power of Confidence, Collaboration & Philanthropy will bring together Dana Bristol-Smith, Founder and CEO of Leap to Success, and Claudia Grasso, Deputy District Attorney and Executive Director of One Safe Place, for a special program in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
For nearly 20 years, Leap to Success has helped women who have experienced domestic violence and other adversity find their voices, recognize their worth, and build the confidence to move forward. Dana will share how her own journey of finding her voice led to the creation of Leap to Success and what she has learned about the role confidence can play in helping women rebuild their lives.
Together, Dana and Claudia will explore how collaboration among organizations creates a continuum of support for survivors and their families, from reaching safety to building the confidence to trust themselves, make choices, pursue opportunities, and recognize their own value. We’ll also hear directly from women who have experienced this transformation as they share their own stories of resilience, possibility, and finding their voices.
Through these stories and perspectives, we’ll explore what can happen when confidence unlocks potential, collaboration provides support, and philanthropy creates opportunities for women to thrive.
The first 30 minutes will be reserved for networking with light snacks and drinks, followed by the program and audience Q&A.
All are welcome! Bring a friend and introduce them to SDWF.
