Critical Issue Education | Reel Talk: Understanding Transition Age Youth
November 17 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Join us for a movie night and discussion on understanding transition age youth.
In June 2027, SDWF will award unrestricted funding to nonprofit organizations working to assist and empower transition age youth to successfully enter into the workforce and advance toward long-term economic stability.
Together, we will watch two documentary episodes that share the stories of youth becoming adults, set in the world of child welfare and the justice system. The short screening will be followed by a facilitated discussion.
Must register in advance to attend. Popcorn and beverages provided.
