DESCRIPTION:Join SDWF and the Los Angeles Food Policy Council in discussing sustainable\, community-centered solutions to alleviating food insecurity. \nLower-income communities and communities of color disproportionately face limited access to fresh\, healthy\, and culturally-appropriate food. \nJoin us on Wednesday\, November 17th\, to learn more about long-term solutions to reduce food insecurity in these communities from Christine Tran\, Executive Director of the Los Angeles Food Policy Council. \nLAFPC works to create a local food system free from hunger\, rooted in equity and access\, supportive of farmers and food workers\, and guided by principles of environmental stewardship and regeneration.
