SDWF is partnering with Urban Growth to hear about hydroponics, their history, and the impact of their organization’s work combating food insecurity.

Join us for an afternoon of learning and a hands-on activity where you will be able to take home a hydro plant!

Urban Growth’s MicroFarm program focuses on hydroponic farming and provides at-risk San Diego youth with hands-on experience growing their own food. By training youth in the basics of hydroponics, disenfranchised communities will gain the tools to overcome the barriers they face in fighting food insecurity.
