In June 2025, SDWF will award unrestricted funding to nonprofit organizations working to prevent and address senior isolation and loneliness by fostering ongoing or increased social and community connections, particularly for those most acutely impacted—low-income individuals, those from under-resourced communities, the homebound, and individuals with disabilities.
Join us on Wednesday, January 22nd, to hear from Amy Abrams, Chief Community Health Officer at Grossmont Healthcare District, and Israel Hernandez, Associate State Director – Advocacy at AARP California, as they discuss the critical issue of senior isolation and loneliness and explore strategies to address this growing concern.
Please note: Registration is required in advance to receive the Zoom link.
