In June 2025, SDWF will award unrestricted funding to nonprofit organizations working to prevent and address senior isolation and loneliness through ongoing or increased social and community connections, especially for those most acutely impacted (low-income and those from under-resourced communities, the homebound, and individuals with disabilities).

Join us for a movie night and discussion on senior isolation.

Together, we will watch a documentary episode exploring how growing older can be an isolating experience while exploring innovative ways to create communities that prevent isolation and social withdrawal, followed by a facilitated discussion.
