Lower-income communities and communities of color disproportionately face limited access to fresh, healthy, and culturally-appropriate food.
Join us on Wednesday, November 17th, to learn more about long-term solutions to reduce food insecurity in these communities from Christine Tran, Executive Director of the Los Angeles Food Policy Council.
LAFPC works to create a local food system free from hunger, rooted in equity and access, supportive of farmers and food workers, and guided by principles of environmental stewardship and regeneration. They are part of a United Nations-led network that brings together diverse organizations, studies their approach to solutions and policy-making, and helps inform sustainable food systems.
